ICE CREAM SOCIAL!  Our 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social was a big success! The weather was perfect, the music was delightful, and the ice cream was delicious!   Tim Pressler and the country music group The Running Kind entertained us and Bug-a-Boo the Clown turned balloons into animals, headgear, and even angel wings!  The ice cream and toppings, cookies and lemonade were umm umm good!  

Do you have ideas that can improve next year's Ice Cream Social?  The Outreach Board invites you to their next meeting on Thursday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Blue Room of the church.

Thanks to all who made a contribution to the Ice Cream Social!  Whether you donated time, tables, effort, cookies, or toppings for the ice cream, those of us who enjoyed the day appreciate your efforts.  Special thanks to George Pymer, Tim Pressler, and members of The Running Kind.  Thanks, also, to Wal Mart for their donation toward the ice cream and to Sonic for their donation of lemonade.
